My problem with the picture-perfect home is that it doesn’t exist. Not in real life. We are bombarded all day long with picture-perfect homes, and picture-perfect lives and when we get home and we find a REAL-LIFE home that actually allows real life to happen we are disappointed and resent our reality. Creating “the picture-perfect home” is a crazy expectation we set upon ourselves.
